About the Role

As Employee Benefits Account Executive, you are the go-to expert on corporate benefits. This independent agency’s target demographic are accounts from 50-500 lives throughout Louisiana, Texas, and Arkansas. They look to you for support within the new business sales process as well as ongoing relationship management for current clients.

Job Specs

Location: Open to remote, work-from-home arrangements for individuals residing in Dallas, Houston, Little Rock, and pretty much statewide Louisiana (Shreveport, Baton Rouge, and New Orleans). Being in one of these areas is in close proximity to their office and the majority of clients. Expect travel as needed for team and client meetings. 

Key Components of the Benefits Account Executive:

  • Partner with commercial lines producers on new business leads to cross sell employee benefits products. Participate in sales meetings and presentations. Once secured, take the lead on new client onboarding.
  • Be the lead expert on service deliverables for the existing book of business. Direct the activities of team members. Manage workflows. You are key account manager for all questions, issues, and concerns related to group health and welfare programs.

Skills & Experience

  • At least 5-8 years experience in a similar client service position (ex.- Account Executive or Benefits Consultant).
  • Active Life & Health insurance license.
