Territory Manager

General Placement Service is recruiting on behalf of an A+ Rated national insurance carrier that recently launched a rapidly growing start-up division targeting small to mid-sized accounts. They are seeking a Territory Manager to work with retail agencies and promote new company products. This position has excellent advancement potential!
 
With streamlined technology systems in place, this new program provides specialty coverage solutions to fit the needs of small, “Main Street” businesses.
 
In this role you will:

• Build and maintain relationships within assigned territory, existing relationships a plus
• Drive new business and identify target markets
• Ensure agency partners are successful in achieving sales goals

 
Qualifications:

• 5+ years of commercial or personal lines experience
• Sales and marketing background with an insurance company or wholesale broker
• Bachelor’s Degree and designations preferred
• Ability to travel within specified region
