Our client is an A+ Rated, regional insurance carrier looking to hire a Senior Underwriter in the Kansas City area. You will work as a remote employee and visit independent agents and retail insurance brokers to market the company's products and services. In this role, you will act as the "face of the company" and underwrite all new and renewal business
To be qualified, you should have:
•5+ years of Commercial Lines underwriting experience
•Bachelor’s Degree, industry designations such as CPCU, AU or CIC preferred
•The ability to travel as needed
