Brown and Brown Insurance Agency, Inc is looking for a Commercial Account Manager – full time
About the role and responsibilities
Position involves managing and growing the agency's commercial insurance segment of business. Daily operations include quoting, writing new business and recommending new or additional coverages, processing policy changes, analyzing and clarifying coverages for clients, preparing proposal presentations and effectively communicating and influencing company underwriters.
Candidate requirements
- Florida 2-20 or 4-40
- Minimum 3 years of Insurance experience in the Central Florida Independent Insurance Agency marketplace working with Standard and Excess and Surplus Lines in Commercial Insurance Companies that write all forms of Commercial Insurance.
- Ability to ensure a high level of client satisfaction
- Effectively act as an insurance advisor not just a salesperson
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- Bi-lingual not a requirement but a resume enhancement
Location & Commitments
Agency hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday – FULL TIME

Salary is negotiable based upon qualifications listed above - $45,000 to $50,000
