Underwriting Director - Agribusiness

Insurance company with a Best Key Rating of A, is looking to hire a Director of Agribusiness Underwriting to work remotely from Arizona, Washington, Oregon, Nevada or California. This is a great opportunity to make a direct and considerable impact to the success of the company.
 
They specialize in a diversified, property-focused book of business including habitational risks, farms, restaurants and hotels across the Western United States.
 
This position is responsible for monitoring underwriting performance, business development and agency relationship management for the company’s agribusiness accounts. They’re looking for an outgoing, team player who can collaborate with other staff members to ensure growth.
 
To be qualified, candidates must have a minimum of 5 years commercial lines underwriting experience including farms and/or agricultural businesses. A Bachelor's Degree and pursuit of designations is preferred. Must possess strong leadership skills. Occasional travel required.
