Vice President of Non Standard Auto Claims

Duties & Responsibilities

• Performance and management of the Non-Standard Auto claims staff.
• Accountable for budget, staffing, severity results, file quality, and compliance.
• Achieve optimal claims results.
• Resolve disputes promptly, by alternate dispute resolution forums whenever possible, and in determining what claims require litigation handling.
• Results, consistency, staffing, productivity, timely reserving, and identification of trend changes.
• Disseminate technical information to Claims Department.
• Ensure uniformity in claim handling processes and procedures.
• Design and implement process changes.

Skills & Experience

• Must possess an in-depth knowledge of casualty insurance with an extensive background in Non Standard Auto claim handling. Texas experience required. California preferred.
• Must have a working knowledge of legal terminology and the rules of civil procedure.
• The position requires a minimum of 10 years of liability claims experience, including 5 years in a management role, with responsibility for results at regional or home office level.

Compensation & Benefits

$180,000 to $250,000, bonus, competitive benefits including 401k.
