Job Summary:

This job primarily supports claim related inbound phone calls within established quality, productivity and process standards on specific losses as directed by management. The individual handles inquiry calls for auto claims but may be required to route calls to other claims organizations. Calls may require additional research or follow up which may include obtaining repair estimates or routing assignments to adjusters. The individual is expected to deliver compassionate service that is fast, fair, and easy to ensure customer retention.


A Day in the life of a Claims Service Specialist:
Makes and maintains a connection with the customer by understanding and meeting their needs; serves the customer with empathy; and follows up to ensure that customer needs have been met
Receives incoming telephone calls and other electronic correspondence with a goal of providing the proper resolution to the customer
Is responsible for timely responses to customer emails and calendar management
Retrieves, emails, or mails supporting documentation to customers/vendors or others as directed
Contacts or receives contact from customers or other claim related third parties to obtain and/or provide necessary file information to comply with quality and process standards
Processes claims payments and supports customers in setting up rental reservations
Completes accurate documentation of all claim handling into the system
Provides back-up for any support functions in the office
In our virtual environment, adjusters are required to engage and participate on camera during online meetings and trainings

Job Qualifications

You're a great match for this role if you have:
High School Diploma or equivalent with previous experience in either customer service and/or a professional work environment
Skillful at being efficient and paying attention to detail with the ability to anticipate customer needs
Adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment
Good oral and written communication skills
Can use computer software packages such as Microsoft Office products
Ability to transcribe information while handling a phone call
Performs routine tasks of basic complexity under general supervision

Where will I work?
This position is a hybrid position. You must reside within a reasonable driving distance from Houston or Irving, TX, Chandler, AZ or Charlotte, NC.

Compensation offered for this role is$35,400.00-$45,825.00 per yearand is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
