About the Role
The Commercial Insurance Account Manager- Transportation role is with a super regional, independent insurance broker’s specialty division. Offering traditional and alternative risk programs to owner/operators, small motor carriers, and large fleets, the agency is a Top 50 brokerage that continues to develop resources to address the complexities of the transportation industry. They need an experienced account manager with niche expertise to service these unique accounts.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to producers on fleet transportation accounts (the average account is 100 units)
- Handle all monthly reports
- Involvement with marketing initiatives to market and secure quotes in GL, physical damage, cargo, excess, and umbrella
Skills & Experience
- At least five (5) years of commercial insurance agency experience in a similar Client Manager/Account Manager role
- Prior experience working with long haul, fleet truck insurance policies
- State insurance license
