Mid-Level Coverage/Maritime Associate

Opportunity to join a global law firm, which received a national Band 2 ranking for ‘Insurance: advice to insurers, in the 2022 edition of the Legal 500 USA. Kennedys,  is seeking a four to seven year associate to join its dynamic and growing San Francisco maritime and insurance coverage team.

Candidates should have a strong litigation background with significant experience analyzing maritime and marine insurance coverage issues, drafting client reports, pleadings, discovery, and dispositive motion, taking and defending depositions, attending hearings, arguing motions, and participating in trials, mediations and arbitrations. Plenty of opportunities for direct client contact and business development for lawyers who treat their role as a profession, not just a job. Firm has dedicated associate and partner mentors nationwide, and provides significant associate development training.
