About the Role

As Senior Employee Benefits Account Executive, you take ownership of this insurance agency’s health and welfare department’s larger clients that need highly technical support (claims analysis and renewal leadership) plus serve as the resident expert on benefits plans and compliance. In this capacity you also assume a team lead role to coordinate renewals and help keep deliverables on track.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • You partner with the sales executives on account management and cross-functional sales development to deliver effective group health and welfare solutions
  • You leverage extensive employee benefits industry knowledge to collaborate, strategize and lead self-funded plan design, management, implementation and administration
  • Key experience you must possess includes:
    • Account Management
    • Client Retention
    • Policy Development
    • Revenue Generation
    • Insurance and Health and Welfare

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in group benefits insurance sales, marketing, or client management
  • Self-funded, 100+ ees experience is required
  • Active Life & Health insurance license
