Specialty property & casualty insurance company is seeking a Senior Program Underwriter/Team Leader responsible for the growth and development of the mobile home park business. Oversee the underwriting, retail(some wholesale) agency development and management of a small dedicated underwriting team(including hiring, training, professional development, performance evaluations, etc.). Additional responsibilities can include underwriting specific accounts as individual contributor and managing special projects. Commercial property and casualty accounts, small($2500) to larger million dollar accounts. Administer, refine, and create underwriting rules, guidelines, and strategy in conjunction with carrier partners. Full authority with the development, improvement and innovation of the program and related underwriting activities. 3-7 years minimum commercial underwriting at the senior underwriter or supervisory level. carrier background preferred, mga background will be considered. College degree. Designations(CPCU, RPLU) a plus. Compensation based on experience, 100k-125k+, including financial incentives, benefits and continued professional growth opportunities. This is a fulltime in office position(some possible hybrid, non remote option).
