Commercial Insurance Account Manager

About the Role

One of Texas’ largest insurance agencies is gearing up for expansion in Q1 of 2023 with the addition of a new Commercial Insurance Account Manager for their Austin, TX office. The agency does not have a centralized placement team which means all the engagement you have with clients throughout the year continues on throughout the renewal cycle. You play a huge part in supporting producers with relationship building, coverage interpretation, risk service deliverables, and underwriting negotiations. Job highlights include:

• Location: Austin, TX
• Experience: Minimum three (3) years in a similar Commercial P&C agency account manager role
• Systems: The agency uses EPIC but knowledge of a similar AMS system will help with the learning curve
• Portfolio: Mostly a generalist book in various industries with the common denominator being larger, more complex accounts

Duties & Responsibilities

For new and renewal clients:

• Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with your accounts
• Expand relationships with various insurance carriers
• Market services to accounts
• Perform account administration
• Handle renewals
• Address and resolve any problems/concerns that arise
