Job Summary:

A Privacy Senior Consultant I is responsible for driving activities that support the Privacy Program to instill a privacy mindset across the global Allstate Family of Companies (AFC). The Privacy Senior Consultant I assumes responsibility for quality of service in meeting customer and business partner needs. This role focuses on ensuring effective privacy incident investigation. In addition, this role identifies emerging trends in privacy incidents and advances the implementation of programs that help to ensure or improve the effectiveness of Allstates Privacy Program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads investigation process for privacy incidents while working on a cross-functional team to investigate privacy incidents across enterprise
  • Advises business partners on immediate remediation activity following an incident
  • Proactively builds a privacy mindset to ensure suspected incident reporting is a priority throughout AFC and customers
  • Monitors and reports on adherence to privacy incident investigation processes
  • Supports new initiatives, identifies ambiguous problems, and escalates issues to leaders, as needed, to help prevent future privacy incidents
  • Helps ensure privacy by design through industry knowledge and a strong understanding of core business processes

Job Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of related experience in privacy, data governance, risk management or related field

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • CIPP Certification is a plus

  • Intermediate project management skills
  • Ability to identify, prioritize and solve problems effectively

  • Insurance, data, technology, financial, legal, or compliance industry experience preferred

  • Continually seeks opportunities for learning and development within their respective discipline(s)

Compensation offered for this role is$60,100.00 - $110,000 per yearand is based on experience and qualifications.
