Job Summary:

A divisional leadership position within AFS Broker Dealer, responsible for managing multiple team leaders with accountability for varying work processes and/or an area of high complexity and regulation. Supports the achievement of division, department, and enterprise goals as well as objectives, programs, policies, and procedures in a business area.

This role requires in office work out of our Lincoln, NE office 2-3 days per week. The selected incumbent should live within driving distance to Lincoln, NE and no company car will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Manages multiple processes and/or high complex or regulated processes
Assigns key responsibilities to managers, exempt employees and non-exempt employees
Evaluate divisions business plans and new initiatives to make recommendations for the impact on staffing, resources and structure
Demonstrates advanced knowledge of business areas processes and best practices
Coordinates meetings to provide or obtain complex information regarding projects and work processes
Assists employees and leadership team in interpreting information received from business units or other departments and effectively link the communications to business unit and company objectives
Analyze management information reports to determine progress to stated goals and objectives
Monitor management reports to evaluate progress towards department goals
Analyze data in order to benchmark for improvement and present findings to leadership team
Notify appropriate individuals of concerns/opportunities and make recommendations for solutions

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5 or more years of related experience

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Series 7, and 24 or ability to obtain these licenses within specified timeframe

Functional Skills:

Ability to acquire in the timeframe set forth by the Allstate broker dealer
Knowledge and experience in business, supervision, and management
Knowledge of the functions, operation and mission of the specific department
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Demonstrated knowledge of basic economic, budgeting, and accounting principles and practices
Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment
Evidence of the ability to practice a high level of confidentiality
Excellent organizational management skills

Compensation offered for this role is$80,500.00-$134,800.00 per yearand is based on experience and qualifications.
