About the Role
As a leading specialty insurance provider they bring over 30 years of proven underwriting expertise and creative solutions to the niche industries they serve. As a program underwriter, they work with agents & brokers nationwide to provide their valued clients efficient and effective coverage and service.
Currently they do work comp only for specific niches. They are interested in expanding beyond just work comp getting into GL, Package, property, excess, etc.
To achieve this they would like to bring someone on board who is currently working for a program administrator/wholesale broker. They need to be entrepreneurial, have carrier relationships, and have the distribution. Perhaps the person is working for a firm that got bought out. Or maybe they just feel stagnant. The person must be strong in the programs space and strong in non-work comp business.
Skills & Experience
- Entrepreneurial with carrier relationships and distribution
- Experienced within program business
- Experienced within GL, Package, property, excess, etc.
Compensation
Comp will be negotiated with the individual and could include equity.
