About the Role

An Indiana based independent insurance and financial services agency seeks an experienced Employee Benefits Client Manager to step into the lead client facing role servicing a legacy book of mid-sized group health and welfare accounts.

Job Specs

Location: The majority of accounts are located in Elkhart County and St. Joseph County, IN. This is an office based position, and the company has a few different locations you can work from within the greater South Bend area. 

Book of Business Details: The book’s is approximately $400k in revenue which with grow through your help with upselling, cross-selling, and capitalizing on referrals from current clients. Accounts are a mixture of funding arrangements and typically average 50-250 lives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the client service strategy around employee benefit programs; coordinate the annual open enrollment process, resolve daily policy issues, and serve as a key contact for benefits-related questions
  • Assist clients with online enrollment systems
  • Market and place new business and/or renewal business
  • Prepare renewal proposals

Experience: Qualified applicants have at least three (3) years of group employee benefits client service experience. State L&H license is required.
