Job Summary:This role is responsible for tracking the activities of the overall market, specific competitors and providing activity updates, threat and opportunity assessments. This individual also supports the development of new plans, programs, processes or products through findings and fact-based interpretations of competitive intelligence with a subject matter focus on competitive intelligence related to price, product and underwriting.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinating and maintaining projects and processes and is responsible for providing low to medium complexity analytical and competitive research
- Support the product operations line management teams as well as provide ad hoc projects/consulting support to various other areas of the organization
- Identify and communicate trends, competitive forces, and competitor strategies
- Categorize findings for others to utilize in recommendations that inform operational, tactical, innovative and strategic business decisions
- Provide research and participate in discussions on market trends and hot topics
- Acquire and maintain basic knowledge of the business, its products and processes, and intermediate knowledge of competitive intelligence research and analytic methodologies
This job does not have supervisory duties.
Preferred Qualifications:Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2 or more years of related experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Functional Skills
- Intermediate project/process management and development
- Intermediate knowledge in using analytic tools such as Tableau and Microsoft Excel
- Basic knowledge of synthesis and storytelling as it relates to key competitive insights
- Basic critical thinking/analysis and ability to identify trends
- Basic to Intermediate knowledge of relevant industry techniques (i.e. SWOT, scenario planning, etc)
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of P&C Pricing, Product and Underwriting
- Basic ability to analyze information and synthesize it for broad consumption
- Intermediate communication skills both oral and written
Compensation offered for this role is$52,500.00-$83,250.00 per yearand is based on experience and qualifications.
The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
