Commercial Insurance Account Executive - Medical Malpractice

About the Role

Join one of the country’s largest insurance broker’s national Healthcare Practice as Commercial Insurance Account Executive. You will work closely with the internal consulting team, comprised of sales, service, legal, and claims to provide healthcare related entities (including health systems, hospitals, care facilities, and more) with risk consulting. Your expertise and contributions to the group will be specific to those clients’ medical malpractice risk management needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

This position has a heavy influence on marketing which requires extensive knowledge and understanding of medical malpractice insurance coverage, pricing, and underwriting guidelines as you will be the lead strategist and negotiator during the placement/broking process.

In addition to being a heavy market facing role, you will also have direct client engagement responsibilities with high level involvement in strategies throughout the year to include renewal planning, presentations, stewardship, and other related client service duties.

Skills & Experience

Minimum 5-7 years of Commercial Property and Casualty insurance experience with specific underwriting, brokering, or client executive duties related to medical malpractice and commercial healthcare insurance programs.

Job Specs

Location: Most team members are located throughout the East Coast with a few in the Central Standard Time Zone. Open to remote, work-from-home candidates within the same time zones.
