Agency Success Manager

About the Role

New MGA launch transforming insurance into a positive, risk-preventing force for small businesses starting with restaurants seeks agency advocate. As an Agency Success Manager you are responsible for maintaining high quality relationships with the agency base, establishing loyalty while increasing production and retention. This position reports to the Manager of Business Development and works closely with all departments to formulate strategies and solutions. You will help drive underwriting strategies as the client evolves from a startup into a multi-line, countrywide underwriting organization. 

Founding team includes serial entrepreneurs with backgrounds in building startups, insurtech, AI/machine learning, automation, and insurance underwriting. Client has fully remote team members, and the Agency Success Manager role can be fully remote for the right candidate.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Support agents as they transition from prospect to active, including demos, meetings, management of workflows, and otherwise supporting the agents production
• Advocate for agents, resolving any issues through leadership in an agency collaborative to address agents’ concerns, product needs, and suggestions
• Maintain a high-level view of customer service, thoroughly understanding the underwriting guidelines and customer service standards to ensure quality care and service

Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of P&C commercial lines insurance experience
• Experience working with retail agency partners
• Previous experience in business development or as an agency advocate helpful
• Comfortable moving very fast and working directly with underwriting, engineering, and management
• Superior organization, prioritization, and desk management skills

Compensation

$80k to $90k OTE
