Compensation Overview
The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

1What Is the Opportunity?
Travelers is seeking an experienced Email Marketing Producer to execute the creative build process for email marketing campaigns both to independent agents and to customers in support of retention and cross-sell goals across multiple lines of business.Reporting into the Senior Director of Email Marketing in Enterprise Integrated Marketing (EIM), the Email Marketing Producer will work as a creative resource to design, build, and code emails, template setup and adjustment, behavioral rules, and campaign setup within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. In addition to acting as a go-to resource between Creative Services, the EIM team and business partners for email campaign creative execution, s/he will be responsible for evangelizing email best practices and governance within each campaign.
The winning candidate has significant experience designing and building fully responsive emails and testing them across multiple email clients and devices. Experience with HTML, CSS and responsive design is required and expertise with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is particularly helpful. S/he is familiar with email best practices and has strong communication skills to facilitate feedback and recommendations to business partners to support the campaign success.
Finally, the Email Marketing Producer will participate in the cross-functional Email Center of Excellence in support of businesses across the enterprise. As such, s/he needs to be a strong collaborator inside and outside the group, working with marketing business owners from different lines of business and helping them achieve their objectives while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, build and code emails and Salesforce Marketing Cloud cloud pages as assigned to support the enterprise business campaign strategy.
- Manage email campaign trafficking through the build process and handoff to the EIM team for deployment. This includes working with business partners to gain approvals on creative, sourcing tracking codes and testing media before going live, using in-house and vendor-supplied campaign management tools.
- Partner with Email Marketing & Operations Manager to develop and manage templates, content blocks and code within the Travelers Template Toolbox and communicate enhancements/changes to the enterprise as they occur.
- Participate in centralized email marketing planning and calendar discussions and provide status updates on campaigns.
- Participate in the Email Center of Excellence Practice Meeting and workstreams as assigned, to develop a best-in-class email program across the company, founded in best practices in people, process, technology and data.
- Participate in collaborative discussions with business partners to document their goals, make recommendations to help to achieve goals and help craft materials (e.g. decks, research) to present the team's recommendations related to email
- Act as day-to-day point of contact working with the internal creative services team and external vendor relationships (e.g. agencies, technology vendors, consultants) as assigned.

PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
- Strong background in HTML and CSS coding for email

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or other related field or equivalent experience preferred.
- Typically 4+ years of experience.
- 3 years of digital marketing experience preferred.
- 2 years of email marketing experience preferred.
- Strong design skills and the ability to convert layouts into fully responsive coded emails is required.
- Proficient in Adobe Suite or similar product.
- Experience with Litmus or Email on Acid.
- Ability to create dynamic content through AMPscripting is a strong plus.
- Proven experience working with marketing technology and data preferred.
