Claims Examiner - General Liability

A national TPA is currently hiring a General Liability Claims Examiner to assist with a school district account, in handling property, bodily injury and GL Claims. The opportunity is to work from home and to live a doable drive from the office in Thousand Oaks, CA Ventura County. Be able to attend 8 meetings a year. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of GL Claims management experience, and a CA Adjuster license or TX, NY and FL. Knowledge of claims handling concepts, practices, and techniques specific to CA Joint Power of Authority government code and regulation. Knowledge of laws and insurance regulations in various jurisdictions. Excellent communication and analytical decision-making and negotiation skills. The pay is hourly at 37.5 hours/week and offers Excellent Benefits.
