Brown & Brown is seeking a Marketing Analyst to join our Employee Benefits team in Portland, Oregon!
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Update the current Annual Cost Comparisons for each assigned customer
Input renewal information, rates, and plans into customer's Annual Cost Comparisons
Work with Account Managers (AM) to obtain census information, current billing statements, volumes, and current benefit summaries
Gather and review carrier renewals with the Account Manager and Producer/Consultant
Draft Request for Proposal (RFP) for review, confirm carrier list, and release RFP to selected carriers
Follow-up, receive, and review carrier proposals, and with the AM's help, answer carrier questions
Provide all proposals and marketing correspondences with carriers to the AM for plan selection
Helping maintain various templates are up-to-date with annual compliance items and revisions on an ongoing basis
Create benefit and rate analysis
Finalize Annual Cost Comparison with the AM and Producer/Consultant
Prepare contribution analysis for appropriate risks based upon current and/or suggested schedule
Ensure all RFP materials are filed in ImageRight
Update AM Best ratings within the RFP Tracking form and renewal report templates
Other duties or special projects may be assigned
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) with three (3) year experience in the field of Employee Benefits Administration or high school graduate with a minimum of five (5) years of related experience, other combination of work and/or education will be considered
Solid knowledge and understanding of group health and welfare benefit plans
Fluent with Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Word, and Excel
BenefitPoint experience or skills to learn software program at an accelerated ability and familiarity with AMS360
Exceptional telephone demeanor
Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
