The Applications Support Team Leader oversees a team of Application Support Analysts to provide responsive customer support service to end users of the software applications used within the business, enabling needed business processes to be successful. Working under the supervisor of the Retail COTS Applications Director this role is responsible for responding to a wide variety of customer needs and providing on-call support to support customer needs.

Lead a team of Application Support Analysts in the successful implementation, application, and sustainability of the Retail applications.
Support project management of new applications, application upgrades and modifications by working collaboratively with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Monitor the application system(s), manage data, provide basic instructing and training to end users, complete root cause analyses, make recommendations, and works through others to improve processes.
Support application support team to assist in user access issues, troubleshooting, diagnosing problem, escalating issues as needed and problem solving.
Develop and drive team goals, performance, and achievements.
Develop and document processes for compliance.
Lead in attracting, selecting, coach and mentor teammates.
Other duties as assigned.
5+ years of relevant work experience
Experience and expertise providing support for current COTS applications
Experience in leadership and direct supervision of a team
