Commercial Lines Account Coordinator

Brown & Brown is seeking an Account Coordinator to join our Commercial Lines team in Carpinteria, California!
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Excellent time-management skills, organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple projects with full attention to detail. Maintain the highest level of service for all clients
Assists the account manager on the marketing of renewal business
Handle the issuance of certificates and evidence of coverage so those clients receive the requested forms within a 24-hour period
Process and send all Workers' Compensation policies
Order and process all endorsements as Brown & Brown procedures dictates
Process cancellation notices accordingly as well as the handling of purging or expired or cancelled policies
Manage the invoicing and follow up of various premium billed in a timely manner to provide excellent service to client
Maintain all files in an organized manner, easily accessible and understandable to Account Manager and all commercial lines personnel in accordance with the agency's file set up procedure
Request endorsements as required and process accordingly
Review suspense on a daily basis, re-suspense or handling items as needed, within Agency endorsed system
Process pre-renewal letter within 60 days of renewal and issue binders as agency procedure dictates
Other duties may be assigned
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
High school diploma
1-3 years experience in a similar position
Excellent verbal and written skills
Willingness to obtain and maintain a current valid P&C license
