Brown & Brown has an exciting opportunity available for a Sales Development Representative for our team in Sarasota, FL.
The Sales Development Representative will generate new business and increase revenue opportunities by focusing on developing and executing initiatives through inbound and outbound efforts across the Employee Benefits and Property & Casualty divisions.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Identify, design, and implement new business sales strategies and initiatives, encompassing new products and services, identification and selection of target markets, and tailored/unique coverages.
Partner with Producers to assist with inbound & outbound prospecting activity in Employee Benefits / Property & Casualty Insurance market.
Utilize Agency technology to assist in the ongoing research/solicitation of advance software products to generate new opportunities.
Attend carrier and industry meeting and seminars to foster relationships and remain knowledgeable of industry standards.
Keep up to date and accurate prospect information in the Agency CRM.
Train and counsel teammates; customize development plans and performance reviews.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Strong technical knowledge of coverage in all commercial line's insurance coverage
3+ years' experience in insurance related sales, telemarketing, sales, or consulting
Active Property & Casualty License
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
