Associate Actuary- Remote

My client is a well financed new insurtech P&C insurance company that is seeking to hire a remote Associate Actuary, reporting to the Chief Risk Officer. Responsible for leading the actuarial ratemaking function, the actuarial loss reserving function, and providing analytical support for corporate-wide business activities and decisions. This is a ground floor opportunity!

· Lead the ratemaking process, including rate indications, risk classification, rating plan design, and competitor analysis.

· Producing loss reserving analysis.

· Collaborating with other functional areas to execute rate reviews and gain regulatory approval for rate filings.

· Assisting with statistical reporting to regulatory organizations and corporate partners.

· Bachelor’s degree required – preferably in actuarial science, mathematics or statistics, or a related field.

· A.C.A.S. designation in the Casualty Actuarial Society required.
