Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Lines Producer/Broker with specialized expertise in either condo or hospitality lines of business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with clients, assessing their insurance needs, and delivering customized solutions to protect their assets and mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to generate new business opportunities within the condo or hospitality sector.
- Identify and prospect potential clients, including property management companies, hoteliers, condominium associations, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and insurance audits for clients to understand their exposures and coverage requirements.
- Collaborate with underwriters and carriers to negotiate terms, pricing, and coverage enhancements that align with clients' needs and objectives.
- Prepare and present comprehensive insurance proposals and recommendations to clients, highlighting the value and benefits of our services.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing ongoing support and guidance on insurance-related matters, including claims management and policy servicing.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks impacting the condo or hospitality sector, and proactively advise clients accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, policies, and transactions in our CRM system.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial insurance sales and brokerage, with a focus on condo or hospitality lines of business.
- Proven track record of success in prospecting, cultivating, and closing new business opportunities.
- Strong knowledge of commercial property and casualty insurance products, coverages, and underwriting principles.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex insurance concepts to clients.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, foster trust, and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Results-oriented mindset with a commitment to achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
