Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Personal Lines Supervisor to lead and manage our team of Personal Lines Account Managers. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, providing guidance and support to team members, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Personal Lines Account Managers to achieve individual and team goals, including sales targets, client retention, and service excellence.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize team performance, streamline processes, and enhance productivity.
  • Monitor team performance metrics, such as key performance indicators (KPIs), sales activity, and customer satisfaction, and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, promoting open communication, teamwork, and professional development opportunities.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on personal lines insurance products, coverages, and underwriting guidelines, providing guidance and support to team members as needed.
  • Act as a liaison between team members and management, advocating for the team's needs and providing input on operational improvements and initiatives.
  • Handle escalated client inquiries and complex insurance transactions, ensuring timely resolution and client satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies impacting the personal lines insurance market, and proactively share knowledge and insights with the team.
  • Maintain accurate records of team performance, client interactions, policies, and transactions in our agency management system.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5¬†years of experience in personal lines insurance, including previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Proven track record of success in personal lines sales, client service, and team management.
  • Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance products, coverages, and underwriting principles.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively address and resolve complex issues.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
