Position Overview:
As a Commercial Trucking Claims Manager, you will oversee and manage a portfolio of trucking-related claims, ensuring that claims are processed efficiently and accurately. This role requires a seasoned claims professional who is adept at managing complex claims, particularly in the commercial trucking industry. Your expertise in coverage analysis, settlement negotiation, and claims management will be critical to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end claims processes for commercial trucking claims, including liability and physical damage.
• Investigate claims, assess liability, and determine appropriate coverage under applicable policies.
• Provide oversight to adjusters and ensure compliance with company standards, legal regulations, and industry best practices.
• Communicate with insureds, claimants, attorneys, and vendors throughout the claims process.
• Negotiate settlements and resolve claims in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Report on claims trends and provide insights to leadership for continuous process improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, particularly DOT-related claims requirements.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to junior adjusters as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing commercial trucking claims, preferably in a TPA environment.
• Strong knowledge of commercial auto insurance, coverage types, and claims procedures.
• Proven ability to handle complex claims and negotiate settlements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining productivity and accountability.
• Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools for claims management.
