Crop Risk Management Sales Leader

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client is an AI decision platform designed specifically for the crop insurance industry. Their technology empowers growers and crop insurance agents by providing predictive crop insurance insights that optimize revenue and mitigate risk.  

We’re looking for a high-performing, entrepreneurial crop insurance sales professional to lead our client’s sales and distribution efforts and drive the adoption of their platform across the market.  This individual will be responsible for expanding our client platform’s reach by working directly with crop insurance agents, AIPs, and growers.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and distribution strategy to introduce the client’s platform to crop insurance agents and growers.

Build strong relationships with growers, offering insights and conducting simulations using the platform to demonstrate its value and capabilities and support partner agencies. 

Identify, onboard, and maintain relationships with crop insurance agents and AIPs.

Serve as a subject matter expert for platform, providing tailored demonstrations and expert advice to both agents and growers.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

3+ years of experience in crop insurance sales, business development, or a related role.

Ability to thrive in a dynamic, startup environment.

Proven track record of successful business development and sales growth, particularly in engaging with crop insurance agents and specialty crop growers.

Strong understanding of data-driven platforms and crop insurance.

Ability to understand complex crop insurance solutions and explain predictive insights.

Bachelor's degree in agriculture, business, finance, or a related field preferred.
