ABOUT THE ROLE
Client is a workers’ compensation carrier that prides themselves on having an exceptional team environment. They specialize in simplifying clients’ insurance needs with comprehensive plans and expert support.
The Director of Risk Control will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive risk management strategies to minimize potential losses and ensure compliance with regulations. This role plays a crucial role in minimizing the financial and operational risks association with workplace injuries.
Develop and implement programs to reduce workplace injuries and accidents.
Create safety training materials, conduct workshops and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential workplace risks, analyze injury trends and evaluate existing safety protocols.
Work closely with clients to tailor risk management strategies to their specific needs.
Ensure clients comply with local, state, and federal regulations regarding workplace safety and workers’ compensation.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in risk management, insurance, business administration, or a related field.
5 to 10 years of worker’s compensation risk management experience at an insurance carrier required.
Certified Risk Manager (CRM), preferred.
Strong knowledge of risk management principles and insurance products.
Expert knowledge of Workers’ Compensation and Employer’s Liability.
